Selfie and bouncing

I have the Rage S since like September. Two things I cannot figure out. If I use it in the mode where it is facing me and I walk around it won't say on me it goes side to side.

The second thing is if I am panning right or left or vertical I come to an unknown point and all of a sudden the gimbal sweeps the camera to the left.
