Iphone 8 buttons on Gimbal appear to not work

Power lights up the dial on the side for zoom doesn't work, no other buttons on the front other than PF or L function.??

 Stabilizer and other features look to work its as if the handset gimbal isn't send instructions from the buttons to the app in the iPhone?

Any ideas.

  Please make sure you have connected your gimbal to the ZY Play app. Otherwise, the buttons are not going to do anything. Please reach out to support@evogimbals.com if you need further assistance.
