The motor force of the stabilizer needs to be adjusted (3 levels) to adapt the stabilizer to cameras and lens of different weight for ideal use. The RAGE 3 will be se to a motor force of medium by default. Please see below for the payload range we recommend for each setting and instructions on how to adjust this setting.
Payload Range | Strength Setting |
500 - 1,400g | Light |
1,400 - 2,300g | Medium |
2,300 - 3,200g | Strong |
Instructions:
1. Press the dial directly above the "Menu" logo (this is the menu button) and rotate the dial to "motor". Then, press right to enter the "motor" setting.
2. Rotate the dial to choose the appropriate motor force (low, medium or high). Press right to confirm the option. Then restart the stabilizer to finish by turning the gimbal off and on. You want to ensure to do this in order for the settings to take effect.
If either the motor force is set too high or too low (unmatched with weight capacity), it can lead to camera shake and affect normal use of the stabilizer.
